Lord every time I had a mountain in front of me, you stepped on it and helped me cross over it,
Lord every time there was a valley in my life, You came and lifted me up,
I've had many trials in my life dear Lord, but you are bigger than them all.
Even in sickness, Lord, you were there.
I've never been alone because you were always there.
I've never had to be afraid because You, Oh God were always there.
When I dropped my head in defeat, your word lifted my face to the hills
When my shoulders sagged in despair, you reminded me whose child I was.
When I became weary, you led me beside still waters
You Oh Lord are worthy of all the praise!
I lift my head and my voice to you Oh God because you brought me through!
Every time, you brought me through.
There is no one like you my savior. You never leave me in despair and sorrow,
You never allow me to sit in depression, You don't sit down with me, no, you give me wings of eagles
You lift my spirit so that I am running and shouting with joy
You move in me so that I am walking with a joyful step
I praise you Oh God, my father and my joy
Jehovah Shammah - the God who is more than enough!
Jehovah Jireh - the God who provides
Jehovah Shalom - the God who is my peace
There is no one like you.
I will praise you all the day.
What keeps my spirit up?
What keeps me moving forward and not looking back?
It's you Oh my God. Thank you Lord. I praise you
I praise you
Because of who you are I give you praise!

Beauty for Ashes
I hear you calling out to me as I sit lost in sin.
I saw your hands of love stretched out to me and I looked up and said, "I'm so dirty Lord, I'm sitting here in the mud,
You said," Take my hand, I'll wash you clean and give you new clothes."
I looked into your hands and I saw a hole. I asked you about the hole in the palm of your hand and you told me that there were holes in your feet also.
I wondered why you were reaching to help me when you seemed to need so much help yourself.
You looked me in the eyes and told me that you did it all for me.
I looked at your hands, and your head, and your feet, and I burst into tears.
suddenly I began to feel relief like I had never felt before
I felt lighter, like a weight had been lifted from me
All the guilt was melting away
All the sorrow was disappearing
All the anger was gone
everything inside me felt new.
It felt as though I was being given another chance. I felt as though I was going to have a new start with nothing holding me back.
I reached out for Your hands and You lifted me up.
My soul began to shout within me and my feet began to dance.
I was free! I was free!
I felt forgiven in a way that I had never felt before. I really WAS forgiven. I had been forgiven by someone with the power to forgive and take all the pain and dirt away. It was like being born again.
I fell on my knees and began to weep and to worship and to praise the one who had the power to forgive like that. You told me that your name IS Jesus, and that You are the Christ. You had come for me. You had died for me. You rose again to sit on the right hand of God so that one day I could join you, no longer condemned to sin and death and eternal flame and torture.
I AM FREE!
Thank you Holy Father for sending your only son to save me from my sins. I believe that He is your son and that He died on the cross for me. I believe Jesus, that you rose again. Please never leave me. Please lead me, guide me, teach me and help me to be the person that you created me to be. In Jesus name. Amen

THE CALL
hear your voice in the quiet stillness of the night. I know you're calling me.
My heart starts to beat quickly,
A little taste of fear is in my mouth.
You're calling me into a new tomorrow
You're asking me to move my feet to this new path
My spirit jumps within me pushing me to say yes,
My soul is hesitant, holding back. not for lack of love for you Lord, but fear of the unknown
As I think about it, actually, each new day is part of the unknown
But insecurity floods back in. My spirit and my soul compete for comfort
I remind myself that my savior wasn't comfortable. In fact He was tortured
Now all He asks of me is that I tell people why he was tortured.
All He asks of me is to point in the direction of his mercy
Now all He asks of me is that I open my mouth to tell about the secret love I have for Him,
Can I do it? I think about Peter and Paul and I wonder how they did it. It's much easier for me, I have no one chasing me, I'm not bringing the news of a virtual unknown,
Should I surrender?
Will I be able to do it?
Will I be able to give my everything?
But wait, When I cried out to you oh Lord, did you hesitate ?
Did you ever turn your back on me?
Did you pretend that I wasn't there when I was standing in the dark with my arms outstretched to you?
No, never.
You never left me alone.
I surrender. I surrender. I give you everything. Use me as you will. I am yours Lord. I can only hope that I don't disappoint. You are mine and I am yours. I surrender. Lead and I will follow.
(The call is real. When you hear it. Answer. He will hold you up. The work will be yours, but the words and the response is all Him and it is all His. When He is lifted up, HE will draw men unto himself.)
Thank you Lord for counting me worthy to be used. Bend me, mold me, use me lord. I am yours. In Jesus name. Amen.

God heals the sick
I lead a bible study called Plugged In. We have experienced so many miracles and have watched each other grow in ways that the ladies never imagined. God is good, all the time, and all the time, He has us in mind.
Well, one particular bible study class, some of the women were very distressed. As some of us walked in we were asked to hurry in and pray right away, so of course, we did. We began to seek God's face in praise and fervent prayer. Soon the sisters were able to be calm and I asked them what had happened. It was obvious that there was a serious matter at hand. They have an uncle who was very dear to them and who lived in another country. He had suddenly become very sick and their family had called to say that he wasn't expected to live. Their parents were on their way to the airport with another relative and they had stayed home to work. Well, we went back to praying and I felt as though we should tell the family to shout praises to God in the car while they were driving. tTe ladies called them and immediately the parents began to shout and praise God. Once the family arrived in their uncle's home town, the family members began to call and give the report. It was serious. He was gravely ill and wasn't expected to make it. We began to pray and we used scriptures about healing in our prayer. The Lord moved on us in the spirit and we began to pray for another doctor. We soon got a call that their uncle had been moved and there was another doctor who seemed to be more confident that he could help. By the time their family came home a week later, their uncle seemed to be showing improvement. Now 8 months later he is up walking around, eating, back at work and family gives God the praise that He was there moving in miraculous ways to save the life of their uncle.

He's always right on time
You know how people say,"He may not be there when you want Him, but He's always right on time? Well, I've truly found that to be the case as I walk my path with God. One particular Sunday, I was going to church, but I was really early for the service. I was also really late for the one before. I was waiting for my daughter and we got our wires crossed, so I just felt as though I should go ahead to church. I was almost an hour early, so I knew that the other service was in full swing and about to begin it's wind down. I sat in the car and decided to listen to a little Joel while I waited. About 30 minutes later Joel was finished and I was bored, so I got out and began to walk toward the church. As I was walking down the driveway towards the sidewalk I see another woman who is also walking in what seemed like the direction of the church. She stopped and smiled, so I smiled back and started a conversation with her. As we talked, we realized that we were both going to the same church. She suddenly began to tell me a story about a relationship she had. I heard the Lord say deep down in my spirit that she should not give up on him. She hadn't said much, and so when she started to cry tears of joy and tell me how relieved she was, I realized that God had been at work. She said that she never came to the late service. I always did, but I had never been so early. I hadn't seen her drive up, but God had us get out of our cars at the same time for a reason. Her fiancé' was a man who was doing his best at following God. They love each other. What a blessing. She said that the thing that made her stop and talk to me was my dress. It was pink and white and she loved the color. Turn the page back a bit...that morning I was going to put on orange. I love that color and I had already laid out my outfit, but for some reason, I kept being drawn to that pink and white dress. I had bought it a month ago and hadn't worn it. I wasn't really sure why I bought it, but I had. I just kept having a feeling that I should wear that dress on that Sunday, so I did.
God is truly amazing! He had me buy a dress and then wear it on this particular Sunday a while after I had purchased it, (I had never even taken it out of the hang-up bag) just so this young lady would notice it and begin to talk to me. He loves that young couple so much that He had set things in motion way in advance. I didn't know them at all, I just heard the voice of the Lord way deep inside me tell me what to do. God is good. All the time. And all the time, He has us on His mind.

Testimony of God's faithfulness
I have an aunt who was in need of a notary public and we just couldn't find one who would notarize a will. We called mobil notaries, companies, she went to banks and she went to an office manager who is also a notary. No one would notarize her will. It is a simple will done by an attorney. Well, one day she was feeling pretty good, so she went out with her sister to a small mall. They were going to look for a dress or something. As they are slowly walking and talking, they almost bump into a woman who was standing nearby. They apologized and the three of them struck up a conversation. Suddenly the woman said, "what are you two ladies looking for?". They told her that they were just strolling, maybe do some shopping for a dress, but what they really wanted was a notary for her will. They told her that they had looked, but had been unable to locate one who would notarize a simple will at a reasonable price. The woman looked at them and smiled. She told them that she was an attorney and a notary. She had an office nearby and she would notarize the will. My aunt and mom were thrilled and surprised! They went to her office and there in a matter of a few minutes she had a will, two witnesses, and a notary. Her price was very reasonable. At bit of change, a hug and a smile. What a blessing!! God knows how to put the right people in the right place at the right time. Praise the Lord! Now my aunt can go on about her life and not have to think about it anymore. God is so good.

Plugged In
We are Plugged In
Our bible study group is called Plugged In. We have this name because we are Plugged IN to God. You see, faith that is not activated isn't useful. "Faith without works is dead". (James 2:20).
a lamp fixture is just that, a fixture, until it is plugged in. Get it? PLUGGED IN. When you take your faith whether it's large or small, and you PLUG it IN to the Word of God, It becomes activated. When you plug in a lamp, the light shines. You have plugged it in to it's power source. The one specific power source for us is The Lord God Almighty. When we plug in, our light shines. So join us, PLUG IN to a life in Christ. Our source, our life, our all.
